Anyone still awake?

Well, its been over a week... No more posts. The enthusiasm seems to have died down.

So, we have entered the Exhausted Phase? Everyone has vented there particular grips, thrown themselves on the floor in a tantrum, the current power holders have gone to ground and now there is VERY little that can be done.

A few people are about to discover they should have remained on the board, and not resigned...

The moral outrage has burned brightly and briefly. :-) Don't worry, this happens to all of the organisations that have gone through this. Shortly there will be a process emerge. Lawyers will probably be involved by some. :-)

The individuals who were united in the 'rebellion' will discover they aren't quite soooo united afterall. The long term plan for taking solid control at the next AGM will probably fail due to lack of interest.

The Youth of the town (Under 40's) will walk away. Various others will get jobs or other interests and no one else will want to join up to a cause which has such bad publicity.

So, the remaining individuals will be retirees/unemployed, and they will probably be forced into some sort of mediation meeting. Co-operation will be championed and saving face for the dodgy ones will be paramount, at a meeting in April. LOL.

It will probably be laid to rest for a good 6 months, just letting the station tick along on minimum costs, minimum publicity for awhile. In fact, a motion will probably be passed that anyone who does post a letter to the editor, blog, or whatever will be sanctioned. So people who want to be announcers will go quiet, hoping to back the eventual winner in the power struggle, in order to get their show back.

2011 relaunch, renamed, and try not mention 2009. Emphasis on sponsorship will be their focus, as the bank account will be at critical levels, so commercial radio ideas will rise up, and various 'business class' individuals will be appointed.

Just a prediction.
